Gratitude Practice Connecting with the True Self

Gratitude Practice Connecting with the True Self

Egomind and Submind

The mind of the brain processes sensory information coming from external reality. The mind of the brain is called the ego mind. The ego mind is connected to the Submind, which is the lower mind. The submind processes information much faster than the ego mind. The submind is connected to the true self, the real self. Gratitude practice aims to connect the Egomind to the Real self through the submind.

During our busy daily lives, we live with our ego mind as the master, disconnected from our true self. Gratitude practice is practiced in our daily lives to maintain a constant connection with our true self. We should practice gratitude while cleaning, cooking, and driving, and we should practice gratitude while working or resting.

If you only connect with your true self when you sit still and meditate or pray, it is easy to disconnect from your true self when you are busy moving around. Gratitude practice is more beneficial when you are moving around. You can maintain a state of gratitude throughout the day even while you are moving and active. Your true self is the higher self connected to the soul of your heart.

Since your true self exists in the vast, high-dimensional realm, it cannot enter the material body of lower energy. It experiences physical reality indirectly through the human body and mind.

The body is controlled by the instincts of the submind and the thoughts and judgments of the egomind.

The mind is like a high-performance artificial intelligence computer. When the mind takes the lead, the Self steps back and watches. Until the mind wants to connect with the Self, life goes on as the mind tells it to. The mind is an avatar of the Self, not the Self.

The mind disappears when the biochemical and electromagnetic brain disappears. Even though the visible three-dimensional mind disappears, the spiritual body and mind made of non-physical energy remain. When the three-dimensional mind connects with the non-physical mind, it can receive higher-dimensional information.

When you recognize the true self and are grateful for the true self, your mind can connect with the true self. The body and mind can accept some of the energy of the true self, even though it is burdensome. The energy of the true self gives life to the body.

When you use the inspiration given from the true self, you can create more wonderful things. What prevents you from connecting with the true self are narrow beliefs, stubborn egos, and resistant thoughts and emotions that are entrenched in the mind.

The more you purify and empty your mind, the more space there is for the true self to enter. As you purify your mind through gratitude practice, the moment of meeting the true self will come naturally.
