What Thoughts Should You Focus On?

Gratitude Practice by Haedam

The mind is constantly thinking. The mind receives information and potential from the universe in multiple dimensions, converts them into electromagnetic signals, and amplifies them. It also translates the emotions and sensory information felt in the body into language to create thoughts, and transmits those thoughts to the universe.

The mind computer of the brain acts as a transmitter and receiver of thoughts as well as an amplifier. The mind of the brain also plays a role in translating energy and information into language. The mind has ten thousand thoughts a day. If you do not consciously and intentionally think specific thoughts, the mind is unconsciously repeating random thoughts every moment.

The mind cannot heal itself. The mind does not stop. Therefore, to use the mind well, it must be trained. It takes a lot of practice to change the unconscious thoughts that occur in the brain.

Depending on what thoughts I consciously focus on, my thoughts change. If I focus on bright and positive thoughts, the neural network in my brain is formed in a direction that reinforces positive thoughts. If I focus on dark and negative thoughts, the neural network in my brain is formed that reinforces negative thoughts.

The mind is too easily swayed by negative thoughts. The mind is very sensitive to attracting negative thoughts from the outside. However, if I intentionally focus on gratitude and repeatedly think only of gratitude, my gratitude will gradually increase. Even if the situation is difficult now, if I unconditionally focus on gratitude and think only of it, regardless of the situation, I will gradually move to a reality filled with things to be thankful for.

The three-dimensional reality is created by the sophisticated programming of the brain's neural networks. Without the mind of the brain, we would not be able to see, hear, or think about the three-dimensional reality at all.

From this perspective, the physical reality I experience is created by my mind. If I want a better reality, I have to change my mind. Gratitude practice changes my mind by rewiring and reshaping my brain’s neural networks.
